Dewalt Power Tools – Framing and Remodeling

Dewalt tools are designed to assist in everything from the construction
jobsite and industrial work to the everyday work at home projects and
hobbies. And having the right dewalt power tool on hand will make things
go faster and easier.

One of the dewalt tools you need to have around is a circular saw. If
your doing general repair work involving plywood or paneling, a regular
grade saw will work fine you. If your cutting a lot of heavier framing
material, you may want to purchase a construction grade saw. This will
prevent the saw from burning up over extended use. The construction grade
is made a little more durable to withstand a larger load.

Some other dewalt tools you may want to invest in are their air nails.
These really help speed up the process. They also have portable air
compressors to run these tools. When using these pneumatic tools,
always take safety precautions. I have seen cases where nails are angled
to much and bust through the side of framework. You need to make sure
nobody is standing in the line of fire, so to speak. These are good dewalt
tools to have but some experience is needed. Always put safety first.

Since we're in the woodworking line, another pretty handy dewalt
power tool is the compound miter saw. The miter is like a chop saw for wood.
It allows you to preset different angles without having to use a square to
and mark your cut. A real time saver. With the compound miter you can cut
different angles all in one pass. This is really helpful for framing roof valleys,
shadow box picture frames, corner trim, etc … The miter also adjusts to make
right hand or left hand cuts.

There is a line of dewalt cordless saws. These range anywhere from 14 volt
up to 36 volt. Nice to have when you do not have a ready power supply on hand.
This also has the advantage of no extension cord to drag around. The quick
chargers will recharge your batteries in one hour.

No matter what the task, there is a dewalt power tool to help you get the job
done. Always remember to put safety first when using power tools of any kind.
They are built to help you, but if used improperly they can hurt you.
