Why Wholesaling Homes Sucks

I know a lot of people who have started are thinking that right now. Your first told to use online classified sites to get your leads and to find cash buyers but when that doesn’t work, you buy another course that tells you another way then so on.

I have the secret to real estate wholesaling that I’m going to reveal to you in a second but let me ask you as question.

What do you want to do?

Simple as that. Many people get into this business and get started and as soon as things go a little sour, they either quit or go to the next niche. You have to figure out what you want to do. If you keep jumping form niche to niche, you’re going to be doing what we know in the business as “spreading yourself thin”

This means not mastering something before going to the next. I get hit with new ways making money in real estate all the time but my main focus is wholesaling because even though I know so much about it, I don’t yet feel I’ve mastered it.

Here are some steps to making real estate wholesaling suck a lot less:

  • Get a quality education in one particular niche and stay at it. I don’t care how it goes. If you want to succeed at it, you have to make it through the bad to the good.
  • Hook up with other investors in your area that may be able to work with you as mentors and guide you a bit. Knowledge is important. It later turns to wisdom.
  • You have to take action. Deals aren’t going to just fall in your lap. You have to take action to get deals done. This is calling people, meeting with people and so forth
  • Being successful is 90% mental. If you don’t feel that you can do it, then that’s one thing I can promise you will come true. If you have people in your ear telling you that you’re wasting your time, then you need to spend less time with them. Many can’t grasp their mind around the fact that you could make more on one deal than they see in a month. Rather than understand, the typical human will discredit.

Don’t know if you realized but those are the secrets to real estate investing. Education, knowledge, networking, and positive thinking.
