Use the Random Dungeon Tool to Make Gold Fast

In the latest content patch, Blizzard Entertainment gave the players a new nifty tool – the Random Dungeon cross-realm queue. Why do I say it is nice? Well, there are actually several things I find useful about this new tool and its gold making opportunities.

It allows players to queue choosing their chosen role in the group (tank, healer or dps) and just let the tool do the job in finding and creating a group of players on different realms. Before, in the Good Old Days, it took forever to find enough people willing to go where you wanted to go on your realm. Unless really lucky, sometimes it took up to 20 minutes to find enough players to form a group and go somewhere. Now tanks get a group almost instantly, healers wait for 1-2 minutes and damage dealers wait for 5 minutes tops. Quite efficient and easy to use, plus I’m certain that a lot more players are actually willing to run dungeons knowing that they don’t need to wait an hour.

The rewards – this is where it really becomes interesting and profitable. Completing a random dungeon after finding a group using the Random Dungeon Tool will award you with a few additional Emblems of Triumph and gold for each Random Dungeon completed by those players who are level 80. If you are running in the heroic mode, before you were limited to visiting each dungeon only once every 24 hours. Now, as the Tool chooses a dungeon randomly, you can end up completing one dungeon several times a day. Imagine if this is the dungeon you really need some gear from – now your chances to get it are much higher if that dungeon is chosen again. I have watched my gold go up while running dungeons and I can say that I get 50 gold an hour from the gold reward in the end, another 50 gold or so from money drops inside instances and at least another 100 gold from enchanting materials, grey item drops and other trash items. Total, I make 200 to 250 gold per hour by simply participating in random dungeon runs. Quite nice income right there!

For lower level players, using the random tool will result in a treasure bag at the end of the instance with a random bind of equip rare quality item inside. You can use the item if its good for you or sell it at the auction house for some World of Warcraft in-game gold- its entirely up to you, but as you can see, even if you are not level 80 you can still make money on running some random dungeons.
