Rift Quests – Not The Only Way To Level Up

Rift quests are the basic thing to do in the game. Each unfolds the tale of Telara whilst giving you rewards, experience and helping you level up. However these quests aren’t the only way that you can level up your character. If you want to hit the level 50 cap fast then you’ll have to go about it more ways than just going through quests, these alone will leave you going for weeks on weeks trying to hit that level 50 cap.

Rift Events

A method for leveling up is going through rift events. These events are very popular and sometimes they are the only reason that people join the Telara gaming world.

The main aim of these is that enemies will come at you and a group of other players in waves. You will fight one wave, then the next, then the next, then the next and so forth until you are all left to fight the boss (that is if you aren’t dead yet). You’ll have a time limit on all waves to kill ALL enemies otherwise you’ll lose.

Managing to cut through the enemy waves can help you increase your experience and level in the game.

Fighting Enemies

Regardless of whether you’re just wandering around in the game or in a task chances are you may end up bumping into an enemy mob. Defeating these enemies can help increase your level but that is only if you can defeat them.

You will sometimes have a pet that you can use as help and you can even make friend (or have friends join you) on the game to wander around with you and you can all level up together (strategic game play can always help).

Rift Builds

Something that will help you with whatever you are doing is builds. You are given two main soul slots to fill and an extra one for a defensive soul. The souls you put here are different for every race but when put together can get more out of your character; become faster, stronger, self-healing etc.

Tweaking your builds is essential in the game as there a many different combinations of souls that you can combine to help your chances of levelling up; you may find that some work better for you when doing PvP (player vs. player mode), tanking, for healing and some can make you more powerful and assist you when it comes down to doing your rift quests.
